Looking back on 2016 – SEPTEMBER 4th

Spasskaya Tower Festival is the yearly Military Tatoo in Moscow. End of August for a week and goes into September. We have been there twice. First time just weeks after we arrived in Moscow and last year, and both times it have been some fantastic shows. I learned from the first that I wanted a seat catching the show from the front. Special for the fireworks that ends the show every night. Also I preferred this time to have the photos from the front and not from the side. If I do it one more time I would try to get a front seat on the side, but have to wait and see what happens during the year.

This year as the year before Mireille Mathieu participated. She is a good friend of the country and you will notice she have her shows on a regular basis in Moscow. Due to the sanctions and not as good and friendly situation in Europe some nations do not send their representative bands across, but the Italian do, the Greece and many, many others. So if you wonder when to go to Moscow, it is a good time when this is on.

With the St. Basil in the front and during a two hour show the colors changes, the music changes, the dancing changes and the show go on and on. Just a fantastic event.
