At times I have breakfast with a friend and take a walk in
the crematory of statues at Culture Park (Park Kultury). These first shots are
by my cell phone that I make sure I bring with me in case of no alternative
just in case something should pop up. Like indications of Christmas at Red Square.
It was reasonable weather to walk in the morning in Moscow.
I like the tram system they have here. You watch people rush to work either
Metro, by bus or by tram. My morning walk is between Petrovka and Pavletskaya
and back. It is a distance of almost 10 km and pass across the Red Square. I
see the changes day to day when the put up the ice rink or the local TV channel
Russia 1 have their breakfast TV session in the morning. I see the preparation for
winter with the salting equipment they use. Keep the side walk clean from snow
and ice and let people avoid any broken bones.
26th
Saturday and lunch/dinner is finished at our regular place.
The snow men’s are up outside and our Russian friends that have visited this
restaurant more regular than us. We with our short 4 years they with almost ten
it is nice to get to know some locals by this way.
It is a snowy day, it was said that the ice rink should open
at Red Square today, but obvious not. The Christmas atmosphere was noticeable,
but with the chill it was nice to head for a coffee shop in GUM to enjoy the
inside atmosphere as well that again was full of Christmas time. On our way
back home we had to stop and watch to look at the wonderful window decoration
at TSUM. The team that does these windows is just great, so fun to watch for
adults as for kids. Each window in 2016 was a fairy tail story and it was
needed to watch all details.
